Welcome to Woodbine. Located in the New Jersey Pine Barrens and nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and Delaware River, during World War II, Woodbine Airport was the perfect place to establish a Navy base in order to monitor and protect both the Atlantic and Delaware River coastlines from potential threats. Today Woodbine Municipal Airport is home for drone research and banner plane companies, among other local aeronautic companies, as well as home to many local and seasonal pilots.
